PSYCHOTHERAPIST

Hello!

I’m Luke. I believe that every person is the expert on their own life. As a therapist, my job is to bring clinical training, evidence-based tools, and a grounded, empathetic presence to support you in making meaningful change. My role is to help you explore, process, and move forward, offering both insight and practical strategies along the way.

I work primarily with individuals 16 and up, helping them with navigating anxiety, depression, suicidality, trauma, and identity exploration. I emphasize providing neurodivergent and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, holding commitment to creating an inclusive, affirming space for my clients by making them feel welcome and valued. Therapy with me is collaborative, respectful, and rooted in the belief that healing happens through both understanding and action.

My approach integrates techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and is shaped by specialized training in Trauma-Focused CBT. I hold a Master’s of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Montevallo and approach each session with a strong foundation in theory, as well as deep respect for your lived experience. Currently, I am an Associate Licensed Counselor under the supervision of Ashley Davis, LPC-S.

Whether we’re meeting in person or online, I aim to offer a steady and supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and equipped to move forward. Together, I’ll walk alongside you as we work toward building stability, self-understanding, and connection.
